Fear Not

Autumn night skies bleed

Sabers cool clash slice heavens

Blue(ish)  brush strokes fade

Fear not old day’s death

Hope will rise eastern again

When blue drains red’s pool

  1. Henry, the duality of both of these make them exist in both the haiku and senryu forms it seems to me. Of course, they’re not meant to be similes or metaphors, but even as encapsulated worlds, these can be read either way. Well done!
